Kitchen Pride Mushrooms truly are “The Mushroom of Texas.”
For 23 years Kitchen Pride has been consistently producing fresh, premium quality mushrooms in their state of the art growing facility in Gonzales, Texas, which has a rich and honored place in Texas history.
Known as the cradle of Texas independence, the battle of Gonzales was the first engagement of the Texas Revolution in 1836. The Texans fashioned a flag with the phrase – “Come and Take It” – and this battle cry of the Gonzales battle is relived every year during the first weekend in October.
Grown fresh year-round, mushrooms grown at USDA-certified Kitchen Pride Mushroom Farms in Gonzales, Texas get their bountiful flavor and high nutritional value because of the pride and dedication of the Kitchen Pride Growers.
Kitchen Pride is the only family-owned, full-service, Texas-based Mushroom Farm in Texas. Firmly established nationally as one of the nation’s premier mushroom farms, Kitchen Pride Mushroom Farms is one of the most modern mushroom growing facilities in the United States.
“The Mushroom of Texas” is more than about a zip code. It’s about a mindset.
Just as the people of Gonzales stood firm to the challenges for Texas Liberty 175 years ago, the people of Kitchen Pride are committed and singularly focused to grow and market the freshest, highest-quality mushrooms cultivated from the soil of Texas.
Grown for Texans…by Texans, Kitchen Pride celebrates the love of mushrooms. But they’re only good for you if you eat them, so that’s why we also set out to inspire you to cook mushrooms in ways you may never have imagined. And we also strive to show you the diverse cuisines in which you can utilize mushrooms.
“Come and Eat It”!
